HAWK "double flange" electric motors can be considered as an alternative solution to the use of the traditional connecting flange. This is a technical solution that aims to summarize the advantages of the hollow-shaft motor (reduced overall dimensions and low cost), with the technical advantages that are specific to the standard connection with flexible coupling and flange (easy assembly and convenient servicing).
The motor has two flanges: the first contains the front bearing and protects the heart of the motor; the second is designed to support the pump and contain the flexible coupling.
